Biorevitalization with hyaluronic acid is a method of intradermal injections in order to normalize skin metabolism and restore level of turgor. With age hyaluronic acid level decreases in skin tissues. The acid is responsible for the elasticity and moisture of the skin. The hyaluronic acid level decrease causes the occurring of the signs of old age. The method is mainly used on face, hands and d?collet? skin area.
Counter-indications to biorevitalization:
- Hypersensitivity to the preparation and its ingredients;
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- Dermatologic diseases and inflammation process in treated area;
- Topical Steroid Therapy, anti-inflammatory preparations;
- Autoimmune diseases.
Due to the ability to attract and retain the water by molecules of hyaluronic acid the skin is moisturized and it can stretch and go back at the same time. Gradually the synthesis of collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin begins, which provides turgor and long-term wrinkle smoothing on skin. Natural rejuvenascence occurs. Hyaluronic acid existence in skin causes its ability to resist the external environment factors – active action of the Sun, cold, wind – and prevents its dehydration.
Just after the biorevitalization the skin remains reddish, which is recovered in one or two hours after the procedure. Papule treatment implies occurrence of little lumps which disappear in two or three days.
How Painful or Harmful Biorevitalization is
During the biorevitalization it is possible to avoid unpleasant feelings applying special pain-reducing creams. This enables to reduce painful feelings during the injections. They will not be felt in some areas of the skin. Anesthesia does not always make the biorevitalization completely painless, though it makes the patient feel more comfortable during the procedure.
Since the injections are done using hyaluronic acid which contains in the skin tissues too it is easily assimilated by the organism. Biorevitalization does not cause allergic reactions and the injected hyaluronic acid is completely dissolved due to the ferment hyaluronidase existing in the skin.
Course of Biorevitalization
To reach the desired effect before the beginning of the course it is necessary to consult dermatologist, who can appoint the optimal number of the procedures. The number can vary depending on the patient’s skin state, age, health overall and the preparations used. The standard course implies 3 to 5 procedures two weeks apart.
It is important the biorevitalization be done only by a Doctor of Medicine granted the Allowance Certificate for the procedure.
The cost depends on the quantity and kind of the preparation used. A doctor can select it for you during the consultation.
